Coach Porras says, "I believe Miguel represents himself and his school the way a
person should; as a model student/athlete. He brings life to his
classmates/teammates and is a fun person to be around. There is never a dull
moment. He gives 110% in everything he does. It is a privilege and an honor to
be able to coach such a student/athlete, especially when he is one's little
brother. He is a role model to his peers and an excellent example to be
followed."
Miguel was First Team All State Offense and Defense for 6 Man Football and an
All Tournament selection at the Tucumcari Basketball Tournament. He is active
in Football, Basketball, Track, Student Council, and S.A.D.D. He is involved
with his church and helps coach a pee wee baseball team. He will attend either
NMMI or UNM and study Psychology.
